A few weeks ago, the kids and I headed to the beautiful Oregon Coast to explore with Grandma. We had some great weather the first day, and had lots of fun at the beach looking for rocks, shells, and crabs; digging in the sand and burying our feet; and just playing around! By the way, this beach was literally just outside our hotel room!!
We were also able to explore other areas of the Coast...
The aquarium - where we saw (and touched!) all sorts of sea creatures, like jelly fish, crabs, eels, urchins, and anemones. We enjoyed watching the furry otters and sleek seals and sea lions. We got to walk through a tunnel with sharks all around us (Andrew didn't like that!). I think the highlight was the bird sanctuary, where there were lots of colorful sea birds just hanging out waiting for a picture! It was cool watching them "fly" underwater.
We had dinner at Mo's Resteraunt (known for their chowder) where we saw horses right on the beach and into the water. I'm not sure my kids have ever seen people riding horses, and they were pretty impressed!
What an amazing trip... we can't wait to go back!!

nice pictures. I'm glad you have a place to share them.
Great pictures! Andrew is getting so big! I'll show the girls tonight when I get home from work. They're going to love Amanda's Hannah Montana shirt!! They're big fans!
Is Mo's restaurant near Newport Beach and Devil's Punch Bowl? I think we used to go there when I was a kid and my grandparents had a condo at Little Whale Cove. (if it's the same place).

So jealous you went to Mo's. It's our favorite on the Oregon Coast. :-)
